Cousins

We don't see them nearly enough, but love the times that we do.  Adam even had his first overnight with us and we had alot of fun.  The kids watched Spirit and had a campout on the Living Room floor.

What a Week...

Our evenings this week have been nuts, but the kids are having a Blast

Mon - Twins T-Ball game, Megan Soccer Camp
Tues - Swim Lessons, Soccer Camp
Wed - Swim Lessons, Soccer Camp
Thurs - Twins T-Ball practive, Soccer Camp
Friday - Soccer Camp

It all started when we were camping.  I was sitting around talking about how I was trying to find an instructor from the Y to come to the house for lessons this summer and Belinda said that she worked with a girl that used to teach lessons in Colorado...  A couple of email exchanges later and we lined up lessons twice a week at our house.  Miss Rachel is WONDERFUL.  The kids learned more in the first week of lessons with Miss Rachel than a whole session of classes through the Y.  Miss Rachel breaks them up and does lessons in groups of 3.  Miss Rachel had Jenna going underwater, Jake jumping off the side and Megan swimming overhand...all new things.

Megan's Soccer camp was put on by a local church and was from 7-8:30 M-F.  It was a great program.  They did 1/2 hour of drills, 1/2 hour of scrimmage and 1/2 hour of scripture.  I brought the twins along to watch and everyone had a great time.  It was a great first experience of Soccer for Megan.  We can't wait for the Fall Optimist to start.

He finally gave in.

I came home from work today to find Jake asleep at the table.  I think that the long Holiday weekend finally caught up to him.

Jenna and mosquito bites don't mix...Poor Thing.  But, she is still SOOO cute

4th of July Sparklers

We had a great campfire out back by the Pool.  Followed by the kids first experience with Sparklers.  Megan and Jenna were a bit hesitant at first, but loved them in the end.

Fridays in the Summer...

Today reminded us of what Summer is all about!!!   During July and August, Leigh and I both have Fridays off so we get to spend extra long weekends having fun in the sun.  For our first Friday, I took the kids to Fullers Campground on Clear Lake while Leigh went fishing with his friend Dan.  Both of us had a GREAT time.

Katie, Claire and Carson Shelton and Angelina and Hannah Herman went with us to Fullers.  The beach was wonderful for the kids.  Everyone loved playing in the sand and in the water.  We packed a picnic lunch and followed it up with yummy Sherman's icecream.  Can't wait to do it again!!!
