What a Week...

Our evenings this week have been nuts, but the kids are having a Blast

Mon - Twins T-Ball game, Megan Soccer Camp
Tues - Swim Lessons, Soccer Camp
Wed - Swim Lessons, Soccer Camp
Thurs - Twins T-Ball practive, Soccer Camp
Friday - Soccer Camp

It all started when we were camping.  I was sitting around talking about how I was trying to find an instructor from the Y to come to the house for lessons this summer and Belinda said that she worked with a girl that used to teach lessons in Colorado...  A couple of email exchanges later and we lined up lessons twice a week at our house.  Miss Rachel is WONDERFUL.  The kids learned more in the first week of lessons with Miss Rachel than a whole session of classes through the Y.  Miss Rachel breaks them up and does lessons in groups of 3.  Miss Rachel had Jenna going underwater, Jake jumping off the side and Megan swimming overhand...all new things.

Megan's Soccer camp was put on by a local church and was from 7-8:30 M-F.  It was a great program.  They did 1/2 hour of drills, 1/2 hour of scrimmage and 1/2 hour of scripture.  I brought the twins along to watch and everyone had a great time.  It was a great first experience of Soccer for Megan.  We can't wait for the Fall Optimist to start.
