Angry Birds

So, the "Giving Back to my Community" gene from my parent's has officially kicked in.  Not that we don't have enough going on between work and kids activities, I volunteered to be the Committee chair for the Homecoming float for Moccasin Elementary.  Even though it was alot of work, it was actually alot of fun.

The theme was the "Internet" and we decided to do the game Angry Birds.  After a small group planning session, we built the floats in 2 days.  We ended up building 2..one with a goal post for the sling shot and one with the structure.  The kids wore feather masks put clips in their hair to look like birds.  The floats pulled over 120 kids, and the best part was that Leigh was one of the drivers...he was so happy.  :)
