Halloween

Everyone has said that I will pay for Jake's costume later in life...  But, they LOVE Mickey Mouse and Friends right now. 

The day started with the Halloween Parade downtown Buchanan, followed by Trek or Treat on the McCoy Creek Trail and finally Trick-or-Treating around our neighborhood with Friends.

The WIGGLES

Talk about a good concert, we had the best time at the Wiggles concert.  Megan was smiling and giggling from ear to ear.  I was worried that she would be too old, but she was dancing and singing along to almost every song.  Jake was on my lap and Jenna was on Mom's.  It took Jenna a little longer to warm up, but she finally got into the "Cock-a-Doodle-Do" song. 

The Wiggles were actually quite impressive.  They didn't seem like the odd and clumsy group we had watched so often with Megan.  They were in Great shape, and were doing acrobatics including flips, hand-stands and backwards flips.  They definitely have spent some time in the gym and at Gymnastics class.

More Birthday Parties for Megan

Megan was pretty lucky this year as she ended up having 3 parties.  Once previously posted at Chuckie Cheese.  One on Friday night at Tobolski's with the Franklins followed by a Sleep-over with her Best Friend Grace on Friday night. 

On Sunday, she had her 3rd and final party at our house with the Flenar side.  A great time was had by all.

Pumpkin Patch

Once again our annual tradition continues...Heading to "The Patch" on Megan's B-day weekend with the Franklin's and Tobolski's.  It was a great day, and this year it was even better as Matt, Jenny and Adam came along.  Unfortunately, the other guys were missing as they were at the ND vs. USC football game.  The kids enjoyed the Hayride, feeding the animals, eating Pumpkin cookies and Apple Cider and playing on the Tire Swings.  With all the fun, we only ended up bringing home one Pumpkin.  I know, it kind of defeats the purpose of going to the Pumpkin Patch, but that proves that there is so much more to do.

Jenna's Cast is Off

Only 2 1/2 weeks and the cast came off.  When they used the saw, it was a bit traumatic, but Jenna was a trooper.  In the end, the Sucker made everything all better.

Megan's 5th Birthday at Chuckie Cheese

ard to believe that Megan is already 5 years old.  This year, her choice for the kid Birthday party was Chuckie Cheese.  While we dreaded the party, it was actually very nice.  We started at 10:00 and were the only group at Chuckie Cheese until about 11:15.  The kids had a blast, the pizza was good and best of all, we were out of there by 12:30!
